Michael Kuhn

Michael Kuhn is Managing Director Of Kuhn & Bülow Versicherungsmakler GmbH (Kuhn & Bülow Insurance Broker Group) with offices in Berlin, Moscow, Rome, Tokyo and Zürich.  A Berlin native, he began his career at one of the biggest German insurance brokers, where he launched a fine art insurance department.  In early 1991, he founded Kuhn & Bülow Versicherungsmakler GmbH, and opened branch offices in Moscow and Zurich in 1997 and 1998, followed by a Tokyo office in 2014. In 2015, Kuhn & Bülow Italia Versicherungsmakler GmbH was founded, with headquarters in Rome.  Kuhn & Bülow provides support for international museums, galleries, private art collections, foundations, and exhibitions, offering a variety of services that go beyond the domain of art insurance.  The company helps realize exhibition projects and provides support in generating financial means for museum clients by developing and offering museum-scale exhibition projects to third parties.  On occasion, they also sponsor exhibitions, such as “David Bowie” in Berlin.
